I find it very difficult to putt from the sides if the hole is on a slope. Our greens do not alsways slope from right to left on the right side of the hole and left to right from the left side. A missed putt is a gauranteed 2 ft putt coming back - very frustrating!! I cannot see how a straight piece of string is going to show me the where the ball turns towards the hole, but will give it a try.
